SPARK is VBS with an edge---relationship building with at-risk, low-income kids in west Tulsa. 

You provide the youth to mentor kid’s grades 1-6.  We provide the rest! 

SPARK will be held at The Ministry Center at the Allan Davis Building in west Tulsa. 
Your youth will help with recreation, crafts, games, music, etc. ---we provide the leadership, Bible story, and all supplies. 
But your youth provide the most important part: establishing a one-on-one relationship with a kid whose world is often chaotic,
and whose concept of God is very limited. 
Your youth will be a light for Jesus  to these kids.

 On Monday, we will provide your youth with all instructions for the week. 
Then beginning on Tuesday, 20-25  kids will experience SPARK with your youth from 9:30 – Noon. 
After the kids leave, we will have a time to “re-boot” from Noon- 12:30 p.m. to allow your youth to process their experience for the day. 
(Please have your youth bring a sack lunch each day.) 
Ideally, we will have one youth for each kid---20-25 youth needed. 
So if you have a small youth group, you can partner with another church’s youth group. 
SPARK provides a low cost way for your youth to experience missions: you provide the youth and transportation, we provide the rest!

A week filled with music !
Your Youth Group will work one-on-one with low income, at-risk kids during SMAK week.
At the end of the week, The Ministry Center kids will perform Nic At Night, a musical play about Nicodemus.

Sunday Afternoons/Evenings

 Your youth will come to The Ministry Center and help with various projects,
such as sorting, painting, cleaning, or preparing for SPARK. 

This can be a one-time mission project for your youth to get their hands dirty doing something for others.

You provide the willing students, we provide the supplies !

 Your students will leave with a new appreciation for all they have,
compared to those kids who depend on The Ministry Center for their food and clothing.

This is a great opportunity for small youth groups to do missions.

Your youth group can be a vital part of The Ministry Center by launching a kid’s clothing drive in your community. 
The Ministry Center ALWAYS needs good quality used children’s clothing,
sizes Infant to Youth XL, especially summer clothes! 
After your youth have gathered the kid’s clothing, you are invited to bring your youth
and deliver the clothing to the Ministry Center to see first hand what God is doing in west Tulsa.
